so much better than our last dog bowl

we bought in February of 2024 i really gave it a shot before giving a review. There is definitely less water mess on our dogs face and less on the floor.

He would put his paws in his bowls and kick out all of the water, he would pick them up and throw them, kick them until all the water sloshed out, and fully submerge his head in them for entertainment. I went through 5 low-splash, anti-tamper designs and was desperate. I even tried putting his bowl inside of another very deep bowl. I tried making him use a dog sized hamster bottle. I tried scolding, distraction, treats, etc. Nothing worked. He was drawn to the water like a kid to candy. Finally I bought this design and hallelujah, I got some relief.

I am a van lifer and this bowl is exactly what I've been looking for to prevent spills while driving. This bowl works perfectly preventing spills, it super easy to clean and I love that the floating piece is one solid piece that doesn't have to be opened and cleaned.

We have standard schnauzers with long beards that tended to get very wet while drinking. This water bowl is great. It took a bit for the dogs to use it but we started it without the lid and floating disk. Once they got used to the new 'bowl' we added the disk. They are using it now and it has slowed down the drinking as well helping keep the beards a bit dryer. I'm very glad that I ordered this product.
